Background

The film subject focuses on addiction and body image. It builds tension as the main charachter struggles with self control, and the emotional impact as impulse takes over.

Imagery and Audio

Most of the film takes place in a brightly lit kitchen to create discomfort for the viewer. Repeated use of blue for subtle visual queues and continuity. Some scenes of the broader living spaces with soft, warm lighting, decorated for a birthday party to contrast with the white surfaces and harsh lighting in the kitchen. Mainly diegetic noises, with some voiceoer, and sparse, tense non-diegetic sounds to build tension.

Target Audience

Viewers of all genders and ethnic backgrounds, from late teenage to late adulthood.
